จากข่าวกรมสรรพากรจะได้มีการกำหนดให้มี ซีพีทีเอ (CPTA) หรือผู้ตรวจสอบและรับรองบัญชีภาษีอากรเป็นการเฉพาะ เพื่อแทนที่การตรวจสอบและรับรองบัญชีตามมาตรา 3 สัตต แห่งประมวลรัษฎากร โดยผู้สอบบัญชีรับอนุญาต (CPA) หรือผู้สอบบัญชีภาษีอากร (TA) ทำให้มีผู้ร่วมแสดงความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับ CPTA ที่ Website ของกรมสรรพากรกันมาก ในขณะที่เรายังไม่มีกฎหมายเกี่ยวกับ CPTA ออกมาใช้บังคับ

2. นับเป็นแนวคิดที่ดีที่จะนำ CPTA มารับรองบการเสียภาษีเป็นการเฉพาะ นอกเหนือจาก CPA หรือ TA ที่ควรรับรองความถูกต้องทางมาตรฐานบัญชีเท่านั้น อีกทั้งก็ไม่สามารถสรุปได้ว่า CPA หรือ TA จะมีความรู้ความชำนาญด้านภาษีสรรพากร ซึ่งยากแก่การทำความเข้าใจ จำเป็นต้องใช้ประสบการณ์พอสมควรและต้องมีองค์ความรู้หลากหลายประกอบที่จะเข้าใจได้ถึงธุรกิจและภาษีอากร
ซึ่งหากกิจการใดมี CPTA ผู้มีความรู้ความชำนาญเป็นผู้รับรองงบการเสียภาษีสามารถอธิบายได้ เชื่อว่า CPTA ผู้นั้นจะไม่กล้ารับรองการเสียภาษีได้ง่าย ๆ เพราะมีความรู้ความเข้าใจว่ากิจการนั้นเสียภาษีถูกต้องหรือไม่เพียงไร และเชื่อได้ว่า CPTA แต่ละคนจะรับรองจำนวนรายได้ไม่มาก เพราะต้องมีความรับผิดชอบ อีกทั้งอาจต้องร่วมรับผิดชอบต่อความเสียหายที่เกิดขึ้นได้ก็จะทำให้การเสียภาษีของกิจการดีขึ้นเป็นการช่วยเหลือทางราชการได้อย่างมาก
